Duties & Responsibilities

This department services and maintains approximately 7,538 water connections and 96 miles of water line. It maintains and repairs 2 water pump stations and elevated and ground storage tanks. It also is responsible for installation and maintenance of new water taps, meter sets, line repair and replacement, main line installation, meter reading, connecting and disconnecting of service.  Additional duties include system inspections and testing, as well as reporting to the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission and the Texas Water Development Board.
